I mean I know why. I just ask why. Why do we celebrate the person who was born and not the mother who birthed them.
I know we celebrate Mothers Day. That is a day for everything else she does.
But the pain of laboring a birth should be celebrated. The person born doesn't really do anything. They are not choosing to be born.
